Ngan Hoi Ching Fiona is a Bachelor’s student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in Percussion under the tutelage of Ms Sophia Woo Shuk-fai. She also studied percussion under Dr Carmen Au and Dr Lung Heung-wing.

Ngan has participated in various ensembles and orchestras, including the Rhythmaker, Chung Chi Wind Orchestra, Chung Chi Orchestra and the CUHK New Music Ensemble. She was also the percussionist of the Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra, Hong Kong Wind Ensemble and the Parsons Wind Orchestra.

Being passionate about musical performance, Ngan musicked in many concerts. For instance, in 2021, she received an invitation from the Bellaholics and became a guest performer in “Christmas Expedition”. She appeared in the Chung Chi Orchestra Fall Concert 2021, Yan Oi Tong x HKMA Orchestra Charity Concert, and the HKWE Annual Concert “League of Tales” as well.

With enthusiasm for education, Ngan has introduced percussion to the public. She was invited to be an honourable guest and has given talks and demonstrations to local schools.
