Woodland Tse started playing percussion at the age of 9. She studied with renowned percussionists such as Jason Huxtable and Tim Palmer in the UK. With a heart for music, Woodland graduated from the University of Leeds and won the Toothill Performance Award. She received her Masters of Arts in Music with Merits at the University of Birmingham.

Woodland actively participates in different performances, including the Millennium Youth Orchestra, Musicphilic wind band, the CityU Philharmonic Orchestra, etc. Tse is now the assistant programme manager of a local orchestral training programme, associate player of the Rhythmaker percussion ensemble, and percussion tutor in various schools and music centres.
